better communication between office-teacher within the app
Currently, when the OA marks a student absent for a full day the teachers cannot see they are absent. It would be helpful for them to see this information and the reason. If a students comes to class after a parent has called in to say they will be absent (YES THIS HAPPENS) the teacher marks them present and it doesn't change in PowerSchool. The teacher has no idea the office has marked them absent and the office has no idea the teacher has marked them present.
Thank you for your comment.
This suggestion has been submitted by others and is still a consideration for a future major release of the Hall Monitor for UCDSB app.

Yes this is important!. In Hall Monitor when a teacher takes attendance they should be able to see if the student has already been marked absent and the reason for the absence.
There have been many circumstances when a student was marked as being absent and the student has decided to come to class. The teacher is not aware that the student is marked absent and office staff is not aware that the student has come to school.
In result the student is still entered as being absent even though they were present for their class.
