Student was not absent, student was less than 10 minutes late and was marked absent for the class.
Student was marked absent, but just missed attendance as they were 10 minutes late. Teacher did not confirm student was in attendance.

In situations like this, it is best that your contact your school directly. You may want to talk to the teacher or your school principal with your concerns.

This happens to my son all the time also. It is frustrating. There is no space to acknowledge this. This should really be updated.
