Good afternoon,
Thank you for your suggestion, I've marked it as under review so it can be considered for future features in My Family Room.
The process of moving a student from one School to another does currently require school staff to process the transfer as well as transfer documents between schools, however I do see a benefit to making such a request from the My Family Room platform.

Good morning,
Thank you for your feedback and suggestion. I have marked this as under review so we can consider adding a notes section to the unexplained absence reply in a future version of My Family Room.
With regards to the notification time of 4:40 pm, it would depend mostly on the time the teacher took attendance, 4:40 pm is an expected notification time.
With regards to a double absence, there are scenarios where courses occur over a double period, in that scenario attendance is taken twice for the same course/class. To investigate this further please contact the school, or submit a support request through the Help/Contact Us form at www.myfamilyroom.ca

Yes, we agree it would be best if the absences were sorted by DATE rather than DAY.

Hello,
Thank you for your suggestion, currently attendance corrections need to be made and approved by the school office staff, I recommend contacting them to address the attendance issues.
Your suggestion to be able to note attendance discrepancies has been noted and considered for future updates.

Hello,
Thank you for your suggestion! When a cash-out is requested and being processed we cannot currently allow funds to be added or used on the account. This may be something that is remedied in future versions of My Family Room and this suggestion is being taken under review.

One of my children left early on a school ski trip before regular school hours, and I got a notification that she was absent from school in the afternoon?! Inter-school MFR communication should be smoother to avoid inaccurate reporting and potential panic. If my child is on a *school field trip* she is in fact, not absent.

My daughter was "in class", but the internet was an issue so she was unable to connect again after break. She emailed the teacher to let her know the internet was unstable, but was still marked as absent.
An error occurred while saving the comment UCDSB Parent commentedToday is the 2nd day of school and our family already has 2 false absence notifications I cannot clear until I click that the absence was expected, or not. Fully agree that there needs to be a way to clear these nuisance messages (e.g. ability to click ‘child was not absent’ or to simply ignore/clear the notification).

An error occurred while saving the comment UCDSB Parent commentedMultiply this by each parent/guardian - I just received 24 notifications, as did my partner for a grand total of 48 different contact notifications for our 3 kids due to an "Urgent" bus cancellation (which should have been sent as a "bus cancellation" not "urgent").
Considering that most robocall services charge per outgoing call, implementing this feature would save the board money and should be a high priority.

Hello,
Future development is ongoing, and this is still considered under review for future releases.
Office staff have been informed of what information can and cannot be updated through My Family Room for student verification.
Guardians can update specific information for themselves on their account, however, they cannot update another guardians information i.e. a spouse's information.

When I've used the website or mobile app I have been able to click where it says "all children"... when you click this, it de-selects all, and then you can select the one it applies to.
