Changing contact information
Having one account per family? I am not able to change my husbands contact information for our children online? It will not permit me to do so, yet the school is stating we need to make the changes from home

Notifications for school absences only say Is this absence expected? Yes or No, how about adding a comment section. My daughter was not abs
Notifications for school absences only say Is this absence expected? Yes or No, how about adding a comment section. My daughter was not absent, the teacher simply did not ask who she was and she was sitting right there. I cannot get rid of these notifications unless I say yes or no but neither of these answers are correct.

Excessive Paper Coming Home
With 3 kids in the same school. We have a lot of paper notices coming home. These should all be emailed out. Even permission slips and such can be done like this. This would save paper, ink and teacher time putting each one into the kids agenda books.

Multiple children, same function
I have 4 children, can you make it be possible to click on more than one child at a time to preform the same action, rather than the same action 4 times in a row?

Updating Contact Information
UCDSB schools are requesting parents log into MyFamilyRoom to update information from the Student Verification form but most of this information, such as place of employment or spouse's information does not even appear anywhere on MyFamilyRoom to even update in online. The system needs fixing or the schools need to be informed that parents cannot update the information on MyFamilyRoom.

Future development is ongoing, and this is still considered under review for future releases.
Office staff have been informed of what information can and cannot be updated through My Family Room for student verification.
Guardians can update specific information for themselves on their account, however, they cannot update another guardians information i.e. a spouse's information.

Absent comment section
Absent comment section is needed. My child was not absent, but the teacher was not there to report to for going to the homecoming game.I told him to just go to the office the next time there is no one to report to so that he avoids being listed as absent even though I had to report he was absent through this site.

Marked absent
My Daughter's bus was late arriving to school and I recieved a email and text stating she missed the entire class when she was there by 9:15 am. She should not be marked absent when it is the bus drivers fault that she was late and this makes parents worry that their child is not in class.

"Mark all read" for events
It is tedious to mark events read one by one (especially when you block the whole UI with a spinner between each one). Can you add a "mark all read" option to the events list?

Absent messages,
I received an email of my son be absent from class. However I had already called in in the AM to advise the school that he would be absent from that class. Should I be doing anything different?
Maybe have an answering machine for all absent messages. Then check the messages, prior to sending out notices to parents. I understand the people at the front offices are very busy and may forget to notify that a parent has already called in.

surnames under profile
I believe that parents should be able to update their surnames themselves. my surname has changed and has not been updated still, and i have sent multiple requests to have it fixed and it has yet to happen
